Public art and garden tours
The museum regularly offers public tours through the exhibitions and the historic garden. The approximately 45‑minute tours provide insights into Nolde’s biography, his art and the garden architecture in Seebüll. Whether on a first visit or for deeper exploration – the tours offer new approaches to the total work of art that is Seebüll.
The number of participants is limited; advance reservation is recommended. Tickets are available online or at the museum ticket desk.

Art tours
Tuesdays, 11:30 am: Emil Nolde in Seebüll – Art and Life
On selected Tuesdays at 11:30 am, we invite you to gain insight into the world of Emil and Ada Nolde. In a roughly 45‑minute tour, our museum educators provide a well‑founded introduction to the life and work of the artist couple, to the total work of art Seebüll, and to the current annual exhibition.
Cost: €5 plus museum admission

Garden tours
Thursdays, 11:30 am: Ada and Emil Nolde’s Garden
On selected Thursdays at 11:30 am, you will learn more in an approximately 45‑minute tour about the Noldes’ passion for plants and the design of this unique artist’s garden. Take inspiration from Seebüll home to your own garden!
Please note: The tour may be cancelled at short notice in unfavourable weather conditions.

The Nolde Museum offers groups the opportunity to discover the exhibition and garden as part of individually tailored guided tours. These tours convey both the life and work of Emil Nolde as well as the special design of his garden.
